Stop the Scratches: Why Flexi-Felt® Is the Best Way to Protect Your Floors

🏡 Tired of Floor Protector Pads That Don’t Last?

If you’ve ever stuck cheap felt pads on your chairs only to find them sliding off, flattening, or collecting grime, you know the frustration. Within weeks, those “protectors” can actually cause the very scratches you were trying to prevent.

At Capell Flooring & Interiors, we see this all the time. That’s why our Meridian showroom carries Flexi-Felt® floor protectors — the smarter, longer-lasting way to defend your beautiful floors.

🔍 What Makes Flexi-Felt® Different?

Unlike thin pads that peel and fail, Flexi-Felt® uses a dense wool-blend felt permanently bonded to a clear, flexible sleeve.
That means it won’t separate, shift, or wear off — even under heavy, everyday use.

👉 The results:

Smooth, silent furniture movement

No dents, no scuffs, no squeaks

A polished, almost invisible look

Prefer a subtle style? Flexi-Felt® Clear sleeves hug each leg snugly so you hardly notice them — but your floors will.

💬 Your Warranty Depends on It

Here’s a detail most homeowners miss: many flooring warranties require protective pads to stay valid. If unprotected furniture legs leave scratches or gouges, your warranty could be voided.

A few smart habits can save your warranty and your wallet:

Always use pads or sleeves under chairs and stools.

Place a rolling-chair mat beneath office chairs.

Never drag furniture — even “scratch-resistant” floors can mark.

A few minutes of prevention today can keep your hardwood, LVP, or laminate floors looking showroom-new for decades.

🧰 Where Flexi-Felt® Works Best

Ideal for:

Dining chairs & tables

Kitchen islands & bar stools

Home offices & desks

Sofas, benches & accent pieces

Commercial spaces, schools, and offices

From Boise bungalows to Meridian modern homes, Flexi-Felt® works beautifully on hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and engineered floors.
