We offer custom area rug binding and creation here in the Boise, Idaho area...we have made this easy the standard area rug binding starts at only $7.50 per linear foot for the labor plus the carpet cost.

Do you have your own carpet?

No problem, bring it to us and we can get it bound for you!

A rug pad should be 1-2" smaller than your area rug on all four sides. This allows the edges to relax to the floor, preventing a trip hazard and curling along the edges of the rug.

The rug pad itself is typically not attached to the rug itself. This makes it so moving around and storage are more flexible.

Area Rug pad can be used for carpet or hard surfaces. You just flip the rug to the corresponding side

There are times where we don't think we can make what you want we will let you know. It doesn't happen often but when it does we are up front about it.

1. What’s the difference between rug binding and rug serging?

Binding wraps the rug edge with a fabric tape for a clean, minimal look, while serging uses a continuous yarn stitch to create a hand-crafted, high-end appearance.

2. Can I bring my own carpet for a custom rug?

Absolutely! If you have extra carpet, we can cut, bind, or serge it into a custom rug that fits your space perfectly.

3. How long does it take to make a custom rug?

Turnaround times vary based on size and finishing details, but most custom rugs are completed in 7-14 business days. Sometimes at peak times of the year, it can take longer, and if you order in carpet, then you have to account for that time as well, especially if your carpet is coming from Georgia to Idaho. We will keep you in the loop on time frames though.

4. Do you offer rug pad and is it important to get rug pad?

Yes! We highly recommend adding a rug pad to keep your rug in place and protect your floors from wear, tear, and scratches, since most carpet backings are rough like sandpaper. Rug pads are designed to protect the flooring underneath your rug and to prevent you from slipping, but they also absorb some of the pressure that is placed on your rug's fibers when you walk. A pad prevents those fibers from matting and losing their luster quickly, keeping your rug looking like new for longer.

5. Can you match the rug binding or serging to my carpet?

Yes! We offer a variety of colors and styles to match your carpet’s existing design for a seamless look and we will make our best effort to match as closely as possible and get your approval before starting.

6. What size can my rug be?

We can cut, seam and make a rug just about any size that you would like. Store bought rugs, usually only come in a handful of sizes; whereas, we can make your rug dimensions to fit your room perfectly.
