A final installed carpet quote requires a professional measure.
That is not meant to slow things down. It is meant to make the quote accurate.
Our FAQ explains that total project cost has many variables, and for accuracy, we are more comfortable quoting after the product has been selected and the project areas have been measured.
That is also why we do not love guessing over the phone or across the showroom.
A guess may feel fast. An accurate quote is more useful.

Our showroom team is not paid on commission.
That means there is no advantage to steering someone toward the most expensive carpet.
In most flooring showrooms, the highest-priced carpet options are usually specialized wool carpets. Wool is a premium fiber category, and it can be beautiful. It is also not the default recommendation for most carpet shoppers.
We usually do not guide customers toward wool unless they specifically ask for wool or are looking for that type of premium carpet.

That is why the first step should not be “show me the most expensive carpet.”
